TWO CHAIRS in carved and lacquered wood with polychrome highlights, the openwork backs decorated with a radiant sun in a medallion held by two grotesque winged chimeras. The top of the backrest is supported by an openwork cul-de-lampe. The columnar uprights are decorated in polychrome with water leaves. Tapered legs joined by an H-shaped brace. Caned seat. Late 18th century.
