FLOOR REGULATOR with chime and four melody variations for music. The case is in oak with a decorative movement, the upper part holding the dial in the center, a hinged opening on the front and on the sides to see the mechanism. The dial is typical of the period, with hours in Roman numerals and minutes in Arabic numerals, a small second hand for the seconds beat (hand missing), a disc in the upper part for the striking mechanism, three winding squares for the watch mechanism and for the alarm function with a setting disc in the center of the dial. The entire striking mechanism is based on an impressive series of around twenty gongs and hammers, with a spiked roller for the striking and chime functions playing different melodies.
