INFANTRY OFFICER'S SILEX RIFLE probably of the French Guards, the battery signed "Creveys à Rodes". Round barrel. Walnut wood au naturel carved with a fleur-de-lys at the rear of the barrel. The iron fittings are engraved with fillets ending in cut-out and engraved fleurs-de-lis. France, Rodes, 18th century.
