VOTIVE BIRD HEAD EAGLE in bronze. The openings and top of the skull are openwork. The body is pear-shaped with six cut sides, alternating between calligraphic scrollwork and anepigraphic faces. Resting on a flared base with openwork foliage motif. Iran, Khorasan period, 10th-11th century.
