ENTIRE ARPENTAGE CIRCLE in brass, graduated over its entire circumference, twice 180° in both directions. Carries two fixed pinnules. In its center is an alidade with movable pinnules rotating on its center, and an eccentric compass. Engraved signature: "Chapotot à Paris". On a removable brass head to be fixed on a peg. In its original case sheathed in black leather with small irons. Louis XIV period.
