Moulded and carved oak DRESSOIR opening to two windows at the top and two drawers at the waist (adapted later). The front is richly carved with fenestration and rosettes framed by two stylized grapefruit friezes. The front jambs are elaborately carved. Cornice with crimped leaves. Bottom panel carved with torsos and fenestration. Napkin-pleated sides. France, 15th century.
