EXCEPTIONAL AND VERY IMPORTANT MECHED AMOGLI
Quality silky wool velvet on cotton foundation. Midnight blue field with scrolls and garlands of polychrome flowering palmettes surrounded by serrated foliage adorned with a large polylobed rosette with pale and sky blue flowering crowns surrounded by floral bulbs in the form of water drops. Four spandrels reminiscent of the central medallion. Multiple borders of which the main one ruby decorated recalling the central field. Signed. Iran, circa 1920 / 1930.
