The white enamelled circular dial is inscribed in a cotton ball placed on a shipment carrier carried by a young man with inlaid polychrome glass eyes resting on a base supported by flattened pastille feet. A monkey sitting on a rope on the base. Hanging on a wire. Early 19th century
