VIETNAM — DYNASTIE NGUYEN, XIXe SIÈCLE
Important suite of four large procession poles in red lacquered wood and copper alloy, ending with two ribboned Buddhist emblems and two screens, all calligraphed in the lower part and escaping from dragon heads. They are mounted on a lacquered and gilded wooden display stand, of straight form, the uprights with carved decoration in light relief of birds in flowering prunus and bats, ending with standing Buddhist lions.
