"Having learned that one debits in Paris under my name, and under the title of
Genêve, I do not know which farce entitled, says one, Saül and David| I am obliged to declare, that the slanderous editor of this farce abuses my name. That this rhapsody is not known in Geneva| that such an abuse would not be tolerated there, and that it is not allowed to deceive the public in this way"...
