Le tambour d'Arcole : "It is an admirable lyrical book". He recommends books, among which that of his brother-in-law Léon Allard: "I find it exquisite", and Une coquine, "interesting, studied and dramatic"... He asks him to point out the new edition of Les Rois en exil, and recommends Pics et vallées by his friend Raoul Lafagette| he has moved to the rue de Bellechasse.
