autograph musical manuscript signed "G. Rossini", Danse Sibérienne, 1864| 4 oblong pages in-fol. of an oblong album bound in black chagrin with cold-stamped decoration, the initials L.R.
in gothic letters in a central medallion on the upper board, gilt bronze spandrels decorated with a bust of a woman on the upper board, gilt edges (label of A. Giroux &| Cie).
Beautiful piece for piano.
This Danse Sibérienne has been collected in the Péchés de vieillesse in volume XII : Quelques riens pour album, of which it is the twelfth piece.
It is written for the album of the pianist Laetitia RAVINA (1822 - 1893)| born Sari, she had married the pianist and composer
Henri Ravina (1818 - 1906).
This Siberian Dance, in F sharp minor at 2/4, is marked Allegretto moderato, and counts 32+30+32+34 bars.
The manuscript, in black ink on oblong paper with 10 lines, has 3 bars corrected by scratching. It bears at the end this dedication: "To Madame Ravina (for her exclusive personal use)

On the 3 following pages, autograph MUSICAL MANUSCRIT signed by
Charles-Valentin ALKAN (1813 - 1888) : Zorcico. Iberian dance (in 5 time). In D minor at 5/4, this beautiful piece, which evokes a Chopin mazurka, is marked Moderato, Lourd, and counts (without repeats) 70 bars. A mischievous dedication at the end of the piece alludes to the one inscribed by Rossini: "To Madame Ravina (For her optional impersonal use)
