Prayer-Dieu in happiness of the day composed of a top unfolding and forming flap. The tier is composed of six drawers. Between the four legs is a spacer that unfolds to form a prie-dieu. When it is closed, a large gilded bronze seed adorns its center, and it serves as a support for the prie-dieu when it is open. Stamped by Pierre Garnier. Louis XVI period.

The particularity of the keyholes with handles in the shape of oak acorns which seem to be unique in the repertoire of bronzes of the period.
Pierre Garnier (1726 - 1806), received master in 1742 worked for the architects Wailly, Boullée and Brongniart. He is best known for his Greek style, pure neo-classical style, but there are also pure Louis XVI realizations of a very high quality.
