MIRROR WITH PARECLOSES
The pediment is decorated in the center with a neo-classical vase placed on a pedestal, topped with flowers, the handles finished with bird heads. Leaves and laurel sprigs extend from each side to join the glazing beads also topped by a vase. The laurel tores start from a macaroon falling like a drapery on the half of the height and the ornamentation of the parclose continues by a sinuous branch coming out of a macaroon in the lower part. The mirror is surrounded by a beaded rod and a ribbon rod on the outside. The sides end in small feet composed of two acanthus leaves and the center of the lower crosspiece is decorated with a bouquet of flowers tied with a ribbon, included in a large recess supported by a large acanthus leaf. Louis XVI period.
