Pair of large fanghu vases in porcelain and pale celadon cracked cover of guan type with variations between the two vases, the neck flanked by tubular holds, decorated in slight relief on each side with a stylized peach of longevity. daoguang mark on one of the bases. the base of the other vase ground and stripped of its mark. european ormolu mount in the louis xvi style decorated with a laurel torus and fleurons. h. total 37,2 cm (remains of the lamp mounting with a metal cone glued inside each of the vases, edges probably lapped, condition under the mount not guaranteed) provenance private collection, france (by descent))
