2000 - PEUGEOT 406 COUPÉ SILHOUETTE

Unregistered competition vehicle

The 406 Silhouette we are presenting was driven by William David and competed in he French Championship from 2001 to 2004, finishing third in the championship

in 2001 and 2002 with a victory in Pau, while its sister car was crowned French champion in the hands of Jean-Philippe Peugeot himself!

The car will have four owners after its official career, the last one buying it in 2019.

The engine and gearbox were rebuilt as well as the paintwork, respecting the livery of the time, with the sponsor Eléphant Bleu.

A true race car developed to meet the new FFSA regulations to replace the FIA

Supertourism, the Silhouettes are based on tubular chassis equipped with 6-cylinder 3l engines placed in the rear central position (300 hp, rear-wheel drive, Sadev 6-speed sequential gearbox). A premier category in the French championship, they will also be adopted in Belgium for the Belgian

Procar Championship, then by its successor the BTCS, where it is the flagship category.

It will be up to its new owner to perfect the final adjustments of this car before taking to the track.
