Letter in which the private secretary of the general De Gaulle acknowledges good reception of the copies of the review "Historia" and the "Napoleon" of Chateaubriand sent by Bonnet.

Maurice Barrès is indignant about Vallery-Radot's article, which claims that he parodied the drama of Calvary| he would be happy if Renard would deal with the problem in L'Éclair, using what Barrès wrote to him about La Malgrange. Souday is wrong to say that Catholics are not welcoming to Barrès: "These converts see things in a way that is incomprehensible to me. I was born a Catholic, I am a Catholic by all my feelings, by all my conception of life, I have never pretended to provide any church doctor, I freely live as a Frenchman in this Catholic and French atmosphere.
