CAMUS Albert (1913-1960).
L.A.S. "To Camus", s.l., July 10 [1945], addressed to Raymond GUERIN, French writer. 1 page in-4.

Camus, who joined the newspaper Combat in 1943, decided to leave journalism. Nevertheless, on August 8, 1945, he signed an article strongly denouncing the atomic disaster in Hiroshima. In September 1945, as announced in this letter, two events occurred: the first performance of his Caligula with Gérard Philippe and the birth of his twins Catherine and Jean. A beautiful letter about Camus' unhappiness and his play Caligula.
