Heights : 60 and 57 cm - Widths : 53 and 50 cm Depths : 23 and 30 cm
Originally, the sculptures in Carrara marble, ordered by Louis XV in 1739 and realized between 1740 and 1745, adorned the drinking troughs of the castle of Marly. The originals are now exhibited in the Louvre Museum (Inv. MR 1803) and copies are notably located on the Place de la Concorde in Paris.
