Group in midnight blue, turquoise and manganese enamel, representing Guanyin seated in lalitasana. The mandorla in the form of a lotus petal decorated with a leafy border.

Private Parisian collection of Mr. L. constituted on three generations since the end of the 19th century. Possible invoice dated June 12, 1926 at the Compagnie de la Chine & des Indes, 14 rue de Castiglione in Paris (75001), page 1/2. Eleventh line mentioning a "Kanghi cookie figure".

And seventeenth line "1 Character cookie "in the recall of November 14, 1927, for the "invoice of June 11, 1926".

Possible invoice dated February 6, 1929 at Léon WANNIECK, 1 rue Saint-Georges in Paris (75009), recalling an invoice dated "October 8, 1928" and mentioning in the second line "32614 - Character cookie Kang Hi".
