Private Parisian collection of Mr. L. constituted over three generations since the end of the 19th century. Invoice dated April 11, 1924 at the Compagnie de la Chine & des Indes, 14 rue de Castiglione in Paris (75001). First line mentioning "P1283 - 1 Pair of Biscuit Chimeras - Kanghi Period".

On March 23, 2021, the Rousset family collection was dispersed in Paris. Robert Rousset (1901 - 1982) was the ancestor of the great collectors of Far Eastern art. The latter had acquired the Company in 1935, after entering China in 1920 and signing a buyer's contract for the same Company in 1924. He was also at the origin of the commercial headquarters of the Company in Peking, before returning to Paris after the crisis of 1929, for its purchase at 14 rue de Castiglione.
