A celadon porcelain bowl with a green cover decorated with five fishes in light relief under the glaze. The base shows a ring of unglazed red cookie.

This color of paste, due to iron oxides appearing during firing, is characteristic of the celadons of the Longquan kilns of the early Ming period.



Attached is a small stoneware jar, glazed in celadon, with a slight relief decoration under the cover, the neck enhanced by two small tubular handles.
