[In 1962, Queneau will give a preface to L'Arrache-coeur by his friend: "Boris Vian is an educated and well-bred man, he is a graduate of Centrale, which is not nothing, but it is not everything. Boris Vian played the trumpet like no other, [...] Boris Vian wrote beautiful books, strange and pathetic"...] January 9, 1951. "Are you the brother of Francis Vian, author of a Répertoire des gigantomachies dans l'art figuré grec et romain, Paris, 1951? On the other hand, have you translated the little text by General B-?
