SAINT CATHERINE in carved, polychromed, silvered and gilded limewood, hollowed out back. Seated in a contoured position, the saint puts her left hand on her chest and holds the sword with the other, the wheel of her martyrdom appearing behind her dress| she wears a veil on the back of her head and a cape on her shoulders, her waist tightened by a corset.
