Preparatory sketch for a tapestry cardboard entitled La Paix. During the war, Dupas was commissioned by the Ministry of Justice, Place Vendôme in Paris, to make three tapestries woven in Aubusson, on the theme of peace, for the main staircase of the building. The three subjects were: Fortune, Peace and Justice which was renamed the Marseillaise around 1944.
