Moral history of Japanese courtesans, published anonymously for the first time in 1899.
Copy enriched with an autograph letter from the author addressed to Horace Finaly dated November 1907 on the false title. A folding map of Yoshiwara in 1846 mounted on tabs at the head of the volume.
A fine copy bound by Kieffer. (Slight rubbing on the boards with some loss of morocco at the level of the frieze, stain on the back).
