Aubergine half-chagrin with corners, gilt roulette on the boards, orange morocco diamond-shaped title-piece with gilt roulette in the centre of the upper board, spine decorated with gilt caissons and irons, yellow edges (period binding)
Beautiful and rare complete suite by Ridinger devoted to game. It consists of a title-frontispiece, in German and Latin, and 40 copper plates, signed and numbered in the plate, representing game and hunting animals in landscapes. The captions of the plates are in German, French and Latin. Descriptions in verse in German.
Nice edition, large margin.
