I f Boris Vian, the author of “L’écume des Jours”, did not devote much space to the automobile in his work, Michel Gondry, the director of the movie adaptation, gave it a much more important place. The cars are as the image of his universe: everything works a little backwards. We can see a transparent limousine, a 404 unibody, or this green 306.
Previously blue, this 306 was deeply modified to accommodate a trunk instead of the hood before being repainted in apple green for the needs of the movie. Devilishly original, almost successful, this rolling 306 will still need a little make-over before facing the paparazzi flashes
