The Peugeot 403 cabriolet we present was put on the road in February 1959. Its current owner acquired it in 1979, in Montbéliard near Sochaux. This car, coming from Paris, had arrived in the Doubs seven years earlier. It is today in a «barnfind» condition, and traces of perforating corrosion are to be noted on the bodywork and the chassis. The burgundy bodywork is combined with a black soft top and black interior, which certainly corresponds to its original configuration. Our attractively priced example is an interesting restoration basis, no doubt that it will seduce the model’s enthusiasts.
