Founded in 1948 by Lucien Babiole, the eponymous brand specializes in the manufacture of tracked tractors. These vehicles will be powered by Peugeot engines from 1950, first with engines from the 203 then 403. These tractors were modern with their slow and fast gearboxes and the hydraulic lifting system. At the time, the manufacturer emphasized on the robustness and stability of its machines and even offered a lifetime warranty! The company had a promising start, then the activity slowed down before stopping completely in 1959. Babiole was then be bought by the Tracfor brand. The example we present is today in its original state, we will note that the engine block is to be replaced.
