A large rectangular baluster vase in porcelain and famille rose enamels, decorated in the Wu Shuang Pu style, each side depicting a famous character from Chinese history, Wu Zetian, Guo Ziyi, Di Liang Gong, Sun Quan, each accompanied by an inscription identifying him or her| the shoulder enhanced by two coral enamelled zoomorphic masks, holding fixed rings| the opening and the base respectively underlined by a frieze of ruyi heads and stylized lotus petals
