He sent them 266 sovereigns, announcing "the delivery of two hundred ducats and the two lottery tickets, which are still in my hands. But as the banker of this city could not make me touch for these two hundred ducats that 1150 livres tournois, I believed that I would do better to wait until I arrive at Frankfurt to make you this handing-over. I intend to arrive there again this week, and I would already be there, if the Elector Palatine had not wished to see me again tomorrow"...
