In January 1756, Charles Joseph Patissier de Bussy acquired the marquisate of Castelnau. The latter extends the parish of Plou by gathering among others the parishes of Poisieux, Saint Georges, Sainte
Lizaigne, as well as the fiefs of Coudray, Plotard, Champigny,
Chillou, and the seigneury of Lazenay.
This captioned plan shows two nice perspective views of the castle of Castelnau and the castle of Châteauneuf-sur-Cher, then property of the Marquis de l'hôpital, French ambassador.
This plan, nicely drawn, also shows the development of the wooded surroundings of the castle into a forest park that the Marquis de Bussy conducted from 1760 to 1780.
