AUTOGRAPHIC CORRESPONDENCE addressed to Alidor DELZANT 3 letters, 32 letter-cards including signed autograph quatrains, preserved envelopes and various documents. The whole mounted on sheets of Holland paper, bound in an in-8 volume, white vellum with overlays, red morocco title-piece on the spine, ex-libris.
These letters and quatrains, most of them signed "Stéphane Mallarmé", the others with the monogram, show the friendship that united the poet to Alidor Delzant, lawyer, literary man, bibliophile and collector.
He was the director of the Revue idéaliste and the executor of Edmond de Goncourt's will.
2 letters are added: one from Geneviève Mallarmé, the other from Louis
Dyer addressed to Madame and Alidor Delzant. "While eternalizing them /
