(257 x 340 mm). Full red percaline, boards decorated in cold and titled in gold on the upper board, spine smooth.
First and only edition of this "extremely rare" (Thiébaud) album, complete with the title and 14 lithographed plates, numbered and captioned, in colours by Marc and Duruy.
A different plate numbered "12" is mounted at the beginning of the album, lithographed by Duruy.
Thiébaud makes no mention of Duruy, author of two of the lithographs, and only announces thirteen plates. An article from the magazine Le Sport of October 6, 1858 on the "État actuel de la vénerie d'importation dans le
Béarn" by the Marquis de Foudras is pasted on the flyleaf.
