Large oblong in-12 (205 x 323 mm), 91 plates lined on strong paper. Full brown jansenist calf, stamped frame, spine ribbed with gilt fleurons, red morocco title-piece "Oyseaux et Animaux", gilt border on the edges (period binding).
SUPERB COMPOSITE COLLECTION OF ESTAMPES of the 17th century, including the bestiary of the great Flemish engravers Collaert,
Weyen, the Bohemian engraver Wenceslas Hollar, or Erlinger.
