Original edition illustrated with a lithographed folding frontispiece in colour (drawing by Henry Monnier representing three greedy people sitting down to devour the most exquisite of what Ostend and Marennes have sent them), and a folding plate at the end of the volume representing the instruments necessary to eat oysters comfortably.
(Half of the spine missing| slight brown spots).
