In-12 (194 x 135 mm), 126 pp. Half maroon morocco with corners, gilt fillets on covers, spine titled, dated and decorated with gilt boxes with special irons with revolutionary attributes (Phrygian caps with cockades at head and tail, lictor's bundle surmounted by the Phrygian cap with cockade in the central green morocco box), gilt head, red marbled paper endpapers, bookmark preserved, covers and spine preserved (period binding).
ORIGINAL EDITION, not trimmed. One of the 19 copies on Japon (this one n°18) with an autograph letter signed by Louis Barthou, at the beginning of the volume, dated February 10, 1927 : "To M. Horace Finaly, whose competence Cambon would have admired, whose courage Saint-Just would have admired and whose incorruptibility
Robespierre would have admired, - under the eyes of Fouché, impotent to do wrong - as a token of a devoted friendship, which will not know a Neuf Thermidor".
