GRAND GUÉRIDON

LARGE CIRCULAR mahogany veneered GUERIDON. The circular painted marble top is decorated with a polychrome decoration on a cream background, of flowering bouquets, frieze of birds, portraits of neoclassical girls in medallions, landscape in reserves and scenes of pastures and ruins. The rim is decorated with a frieze of palmettes and a frieze of greeks. It rests on an octagonal shaft moulded with acanthus and flowers, ending in a poly-lobed base with a flower point.
