HANGING BORNE in chased bronze, wrought iron frame in the form of an openwork cage with geometric motifs and Roman numerals. The lower part of the clock is decorated with a bas-relief frieze of two putti representing the allegory of architecture and sculpture. Enamelled dial with Arabic numerals signed Paulin in Paris. Bronze base simulating a brick wall. It rests on four ball feet. It is surmounted by a winged putti presenting measuring instruments at its feet. The sides are decorated with trophies on the theme of architecture. 19th century
