




SPECTACULAR PAIR OF GIRANDOLES with eight lights in chased and gilt bronze. The shaft adopts the shape of a bush with sinuous arms carrying asymmetrical wicks which support shell-engraved binnacles. It is adorned with multiple violin-like plates of cut crystal, attached by rosettes. It rests on a baluster foot chiselled with ribboned medallions joined by garlands of fruit. The large circular base is decorated with four medallions showing a man's bust, in front, wearing a hat and decorated with laurel garlands, crosses, acanthus and clasps.Regency style work
