Superb and rare round equatorial sundial in gilt brass, signed: "CHRISTOPHORUS SCHISSLER ME FECIT" located in Augsbourg "AUGUSTE VINDELICORUM" and dated "ANNO DOMINI 1558". Features a large compass in the centre. The lower section is decorated with foliage and a list of latitudes.
