Warrant from the Prince Regent, in the name of the King, to affix the Great Seal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland to the Ratification, in the name of His Majesty, of a Convention between His Majesty and his good brother the King of Prussia, concluded and signed in Paris on 2 August 1815, by Plenipotentiaries Robert Stewart Viscount of Castlereagh, the Duke of Wellington and the Prince of Hardenberg.
A copy of this Convention, comprising a Preamble and 6 Articles, follows. "Napoleon Bonaparte being in the power of the Powers
Allies, Their Majesties the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the King of Prussia, the Emperor of Austria, and the Emperor of Russia met, under the terms of the Treaty of [25 March 1815], on the measures most likely to render impossible any undertaking on his part against the repose of Europe. [...] Articl e I.
Napoleon Bonaparte is regarded by the Powers who signed the Treaty of March 25 as their Prisoner. - Articl e II.
His Guard is specially entrusted to the British Government. The choice of the place, and the choice of the measures which can best ensure the purpose of the present stipulation, are reserved to His Britannic Majesty.

The Imperial Courts of Austria and Russia, and the Royal Court of Prussia, shall appoint Commissioners who shall go to and remain at the place assigned by His Britannic Majesty's Government for the sojourn of Napoleon Bon
