Account of her official trip to Spain in June 1947, where Eva Perón was received by General Franco.
[It was the first time that the wife of the President of Argentina was officially invited alone by a foreign country, and the first time she flew on a plane.]
Arriving June 7th at the Villa Cisneros airport, she was escorted by a Moorish regiment. The next day she is in Palmas, attends mass in the cathedral, lunches at the inn of Gando| General Escames gives her typical gifts from the island. Then it's on to Madrid, where she is welcomed by General FRANCO and his wife, and accommodated in the Pardo Palace, Franco's residence. Monday, official reception| Franco presents her with the Order of Isabella the Catholic| speech on the balcony. Gala banquet with show by Carmen Sevilla and Lola Flores. The next day, she gives a speech at the National Radio
