"Mr. Molé, having recently been informed of the oppositions made by some mutineers and seditious for the new bastion that I want to be made in my pallays, I have made known my intention to those of my council to hold the hand in the execution of my will, for which, having made their provision, I will do my best to help you to work for the perfection of the rest to the things which will require your charge, which I particularly recommend to you, and that this be done without loss of time before the vacations, which I promise myself with pleasure to do with your affection"...
