Thank you for this new encouragement" . 10 September: he returns from Germany, "where the visit unleashed a really great popular contest". He thanks him for his affectionate thoughts during the attack on the Petit-Clamart (22 August 1962): "The attack was very well planned and should have 'succeeded'" . 2 December: "The result of the referendum did not meet my hopes. That of the elections exceeded it!"...
