In the centre, the tree takes the form of a
skeleton, surrounded by the tempting Serpent,
to signify that the disobedience of our
First Parents brought death among the
men| on either side, Adam and Eve are
naked, the latter handing the fruit to Adam.

of nature serving as a frame for the scene.
