Polylobed covered box in cinnabar lacquer, finely carved with a central medallion, representing an assembly of Taoist dignitaries accompanied by their disciples on a terrace planted with longhorn pines and maples. The rim is decorated with eight medallions representing bats flying over mountain peaks and lingzhi, alternating with the eight Buddhist emblems.
