It was in 1908, with Les Robes de Paul Poiret racontées par Paul Iribe that the great couturier revolutionized the genre: he brought into fashion the bright colours applied with stencil and the models drawn in solids.
Paul Poiret, who appreciated Iribe's drawings, recounted in the newspaper Le

Poiret, in brown ink: "To Monsieur Monod, a souvenir of a laborious collaboration. Paul Poiret. January 1909".
