In-16, fir-green morocco, dishes decorated with a large mosaic composition of black, beige and rosewood box set and decorated with cold-set and green oeser paste nets, back titled gold and decorated, mink-brown box guards, double guards of hand-painted kromekote paper, gold edges on witnesses preserved cover and back, matching shirt and bordered case (Micheline de Bellefroid, [1982]).
Original edition with green cover illustrated by Max ERNST. One of the 50 copies on vellum of the Marais Crèvecoeur, only large paper (#48).
Etching frontispiece by Max ERNST reserved for luxury copies, printed in black on vellum, justified 46/50 and signed in pencil.
